Endocrinology

The endocrine system is formed by the complex network of glands—organs that secrete fluids called hormones. Endocrinology is the study of this endocrine system.

Endocrinologists are doctors who treat people suffering from hormonal imbalances, from glands in the endocrine system, or certain types of cancers. The reason for treatment is to restore the balance of hormones.

As per research, Women who have been negatively impacted by hormonal imbalance number around 43 percent. Another study on American patients states that over 600,000 women annually undergo a hysterectomy. Reasons for having a hysterectomy are uterine fibroids, endometriosis, and uterine prolapse.
